We believe that as a faith community at St. Mary Help of Christians School, we are messengers of Christ. We are to use the Gospel message to serve and transform the world by loving God and loving others.
As part of the area Catholic Community Schools, we encourage and appreciate each child’s unique talents and abilities. St. Mary
St Mary Help of Christians, is one of the numerous names by which we have come to know and love Mary, the mother of our Savior. It refers specifically to the aid that Mary gives as an intercessor, meaning one who prays with and for us to God. The title of “Helper” has been applied to Mary for centuries.
Because of her closeness to Christ and her unique role in bringing about God’s plan, we believe Mary is a great intercessor for us to reach out to when praying.
It is through St. Mary’s faith and conviction to prayer that we will strive to pray for all of those in our school, our community, and our world. Here at St. Mary Help of Christians School, we understand the power of prayer and gratefully use it to lift up those around us as well as ourselves.
